End of Q2
Finished the 4th and last class of the paper-making course on Monday. I can now resume my regular routines on Mondays. I started going to work at the studio early in the morning because I desperately needed AC during the day in this extremely hot weather. Started the long process of cleaning up the messy […]
Back to Work
Returned to work on Wed. after a much needed LNY holiday to rest. Slept a lot during the holidays and managed to complete drawing all 100 postcard fai-chuns for the year of the 🐉. Mailed out most of them to my friends in Canada. Saw my fai-chuns displayed at a few small shops near the […]
🌏 Weekend
It was Earth Day on Friday, I seized the opportunity to do some gardening and pampered the many succulents in the studio. Earth Day became Earth Weekend. On Sat., after having dim sum lunch with my family (my first dine-in since the 5th pandemic wave), I went home and cleaned up my little green corner. […]
Creative Monday

As the saying goes – “What doesn’t kill you […]
More Plantings
Continued with my plantings at the studio. Took me the whole day to replenish the succulents, now my back is hurting a little, but it feels good to finally complete something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time! =)
Studio Renovation V
Day 5 – Set up my art supplies, planted a row of plants (mainly succulents brought from home), and started cleaning up. Hope to finish this little renovation project tomorrow. Before renovating my studio, I sat in on a public forum at my Alma Mater in the morning. It was about climate change from HK’s […]
Succulents
Other than weekly watering, it’s been months since I spent time on taking care of the many succulents I planted at home. Went to the Flower Market after lunch and bought 3 new succulents and a tiny bonsai tree. Played with dirt for the entire afternoon, felt slightly more intimate with nature. It was a […]
