Checked in with the doctor for the last time today, he said I’m totally recovered and no further medication is needed! Thank God.
Although costly, my sudden illness seems to me more like a blessing than a curse. Since the inevitable illness started in early Dec., I was given the opportunity to spend more time with my family, read bible, planting, rest, contemplate about life and reflect on how I should spend time… I’m truly thankful for this long period of recuperation.
A couple of bible verses constantly rings in my head during this time:
“你們得救在乎歸回安息，你們得力在乎平靜安穩”
“but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
