My semester of Saturday classes have finally come to a close today! Since the start of the year, almost all my Saturdays had been occupied by classes (2 painting classes and 1 rubber stamping class), that’s from 4pm till 9:30pm! As much as I enjoy oil painting, doing 2 back-to-back classes on the weekend seemed a little too much.
Had to miss a few gatherings/events in the past 3 months because of the classes. Hoping to open up my Saturdays for a little spontaneity in the next semester, I’m going to switch back to doing my painting classes on Monday nights. I actually thought about ending my oil painting classes altogether, but I’m almost certain that I’ll miss the weekly 2-hour indulgence with brushes, paint, and canvas – a habit I’ve kept for 2 years now.
