I was just telling a friend on FB how I missed many hiking opportunities because I prefer to rest at home on weekends, but this weekend turned out to be one of my busiest in recent days.
Woke up early yesterday for my friend’s wedding. Being a groomsman, it was an all day event. In contrast to the leisure and relaxing wedding I attended in Hawaii earlier, the wedding yesterday was fully packed. Both the groom and the bride had spent a large portion of time during the evening banquet to sing and dance to entertain the guests, I can only imagine how much time and effort they had spent to rehearse prior to the wedding. If I ever get marry, I would definitely choose something similar to the cozy and relaxing Hawaiian wedding. And I’ll probably choose Banff as the destination, for its most breathtaking scenery and homey experience (yes, I still very much consider Canada to be my other home).
Woke up early again this morning for a badminton competition. As expected, our team lost all games, but it was still fun, and I even had a little friendly chat with our competing team after the game. This is one of the reasons why I like sports and art, they are a friendly international language without the need of words.
