The temperature suddenly dropped from 2x degrees to as low as 14 degrees in the last couple of days. I was reluctant to leave my warm bed and resulted in getting up slightly late this morning.
With the relatively colder temperature and gloomy days, I was able to lock myself in the studio without worrying of being melted by the westerly sun. Perhaps the many years of spending cold winters in the Great North had trained me well, I feel strangely acclimatized and comfortable in this cold weather. The question about why I was brought back to this place more than 3 years ago popped up in my head again… What have I been doing in the last 3 years? It felt like I had been traveling aimlessly in a dim foggy forest early before the break of dawn…
Had I just wasted my 3 years away? I don’t know. Maybe it’s just the slightly depressing weather having its effect on me.
Oh God, please shine Your light on me once again, help me see more clearly Your vision, and let me strive each day with purpose and diligence.
