Thanks to a new tutorial, I was finally able to unlock and use my brother’s old iPhone 3GS!  Spent the whole afternoon troubleshooting and migrating everything from my old iPhone 3G.  The faster hardware and the newer iOS makes everything feel so much snappier!  And the better camera will also allow me to take greater snapshots for this journal.

A bit carried away with all the unlocking, I was almost late for my first oil painting class.  Was introduced to some oil painting tools and saw a quick demonstration of the painting of an orange.  Amazed!  I remember having the same awe feeling when I witnessed my tutor demonstrating the quick ink & wash drawing of a female model during a life drawing class many years ago.  Such God-sent gifts!  I’ll have my next 11 Monday nights learning this oil painting art, should be fun.
