Currently on the 9th day of this 21-day “Living a Divinely Inspired Life” devotion plan, it is about how the Israelite spent 40 years wandering in the desert without lacking food, water, and clothing. “If God gives you the vision, He will make the provision.”
Even before starting this devotion plan, I have been constantly thinking about God’s purpose in me. He has created me and molded me into who I am today, how is it that I should live my life to glorify His name? Often times I would simply resort to one of my favorite scriptures – “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8) But that doesn’t seem to give me any direction in terms of my career. Career counselors would often ask this question – “What do you see yourself doing in 5 years?” A rather provoking visualization exercise…
God, thank you for your constant provisions and blessings, please continue to lead and guide me through life, let me be the salt and light of this world, glorifying You with the things that I do and say.
